What to Expect During Escrow in California

Escrow is the period between an accepted offer and the official closing of a sale — and it's one of the most important parts of the real estate process, but also one of the most confusing. In this video, Katherine Brough with Seven Gables Real Estate walks through what actually happens during escrow.

That includes the buyer's deposit, inspections, seller disclosures, the appraisal and loan process, repair requests and credits, contingency removal, the final walkthrough, and signing, funding, recording, and closing. During this window, both the buyer and seller work through the contract terms, deadlines, and documents needed to complete the transaction.

If you're buying or selling a home in Orange County and want help understanding the process from offer to closing, reach out — Katherine is happy to walk you through it.
